Lately, I’ve been pretty busy with the purchase of Green Panda Treehouse. After buying a blog, there is a lot of time to be invested in analyzing the stats, they way it is built and where we want to go with it. It’s always fun but it requires a lot of time!

5 weeks ago, I have announced that I wanted to lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks. After several weeks of work, I am now at 181 lbs… so only 3 pounds less. Since I am not super happy with the results so far, I’ll be trying to cut on my food portion combined to my 4 days/week of training. I hope to get better results after the next 5 weeks!

Here are some great reads for this week:

Answering a reader’s question @ Four Pillars. Here’s Mike answer: “Your parents are stupid, selfish and screwed. You are screwed as well unless you can disown them (which is unlikely)”. Too funny!

Best 50 low-cost ETF’s @ Intelligent Speculator.

Tips for struggling investors @ The Dividend Guy. Making financial decisions when emotions are involved is always hard!

Save on CAD and USD conversion @ Canadian Capitalist. My thought on the topic: don’t wait to convert your USD to CAD if you don’t need USD this year.. parity is coming!

Passive income at retirement @ Canadian Finance Blog. I wish I can boost my passive income to retire…. At 35!

How annuity works @ Million Dollar Journey. Very interesting for older people!

The seduction of power and money @ Canadian Dream. I think that both of them can do a lot of goods 😉

Switch bank account checklist @ Squawkfox. Switching bank account is always a pain. Here’s a checklist that will help you think about everything.

4 hours work week review @ Studenomics. I have received this book for Christmas and I really can’t wait to read it!.

Tax sheltered annuity by ABC’s of investing.

Stocks with little or no debts @ Invest in the markets. Debt is a killer during recession and high liquidity assets is a big booster when we get out of it. Time to get some great stock picks for 2010!

The Dow dog’s and underdogs @ Ending the Rat Race.

How many banks should be in your dividend portfolio? @ Thicken my Wallet. I’d take them all but I am a sucker for banks 😉

How to protect yourself from currency risk when you are buying US stocks @ Money Energy.

Thanks for the mention; greatly appreciated!

Keep up the work out routine – you’ll get to your goal.

Will be in touch with an e-mail in the short-term.

You’re at the stage now where you need to eat as lean as possible. Trust me, I hate the feeling. I had splurged last night and ate a lot of pizza.

Thanks for the mention and you better read that book soon! (its been 3 months)

Thanks for the mention! Cheers!

I know, I’m terrible with books… the worst part is that I love to read… I just don’t have the time anymore!

Thanks for the link Mike!
