It’s time for a change around here. Instead of doing a mega roundup here every Friday, from now on we’ll be doing the Epic Shiz of The Week. We’ll highlight one post from the past week that really stuck out and we’ll take a closer look at it. The post for the week is…

How to Write 300,000 Words In 1 Yearย @ The Art of Non-Conformity.

Why do I love this shiz?

The post is a reminder of what bloggers do. It’s a reminder of what all artists do. The post is a reminder of how much time and work you must be willing to put in if you want to me a living from your passion. How serious are you about turning your hobby into a full-time gig?

How can this post benefit YOU?

You need to love your art and hone your craft if you want to live life on your own terms. This isn’t a post just for writers. This is a post for all aspiring entrepreneurs. This post is for anyone out there that wants to improve at something. The message is that you need to put the work in. You need to love what you do. You can’t be afraid of drowning in sweat. This is an article that you need to read if you want to see how much work goes into creating an empire.

At the end of the day it’s one thing to say that you want to follow your passions. It’s a completely other thing to actually get off your butt to do the work. Are you willing to work for it?

Did you write something epic this week? Don’t by shy. Send it over to thefinancialblogger at gmail dot com. We go over all submissions!

Interesting new concept – hope it goes well for you!

I like how he finishes the post:
“Most important: Love your art and it will love you back.”

I think this is the true success of happiness and success in life: do what you love.

Great found Martin!

TFB sorry that I missed you at FINCON. I’d like to say that EVERYTHING that I write is epic. Just putting that out there.

This reminds me of Malcolm Gladwell’s book Outliers and the 10,000 hour rule. I really enjoyed that book and would recommend it highly.

I’m sorry too!! but this is why we will have another conference next year ๐Ÿ˜‰

Everything huh? you know that being confident is good but being over confident is a flaw? I know it because I’m part of those people hehehe!

send me your best article and I’ll publish as the Epic Shiz of the week ๐Ÿ˜€

I finally figured out what “shiz” is. ๐Ÿ™‚

Good article – a good reminder that it doesn’t hurt to write a lot. I definitely need to write more.

That said – if you are a doing a lot of research, the number of words per hour goes way down.

Nice change of format. Will look through my shiz so you can add to your epic collection. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks!

I am stoked about reading that post! Thanks for the recommendation.
