		<description>I'm in exactly the same position.  I've been studying for several years on an advanced degree and have used most of my vacation days for study.  I've got four kids (yes four) so time is at a premium.  For vacations we get a cottage every year and the time away is fantastic!</description>

		<description>That sounds like a great idea. I would love to do the same but I would love to go to the beach location. I guess the price might be higher but if I look for non-tourist town then it will be cheaper.</description>

		<description>I'm with you Rachel. I moved a lot growing up, so we never did the vacation-thing beyond going home to see family (usually during a move). Although we could afford to take a vacation, my wife and I are focusing on paying down the mortgage.

Vacations are much easier to enjoy when you're not financing them via a mortgage!</description>
