I read this book when I was 19 and it changed my life. So, I know how helpful this book can be for someone who is just starting out. But, I am really curious how many kids will take advantage of this knowledge and how many will just spend the $20 and toss the book. Only time will tell. For the past 10 years, I have given every kid $20 and a copy of The Richest Man in Babylon, when they graduate high school.

I read this book when I was 19 and it changed my life. So, I know how helpful this book can be for someone who is just starting out.

RESP or share certificate is something he'll REALLY appreciate in 15 yrs or so... towards that end I'd recommend you look VERY hard at MIC funds (mortgage investment corporations...) great rates of return and secured by real estate... so, if you're diligent in choosing a MIC fund, your capital is safe & your returns are much better & more stable, than almost anything else..... It's worked well for me.... :) I’ve got a 2 1/2 yr old & still not certain what to get him since he’s already got all the ‘toys’….. anyway….
