To stay in the horror theme from last week Halloween, there is a guy who thinks that Canadian Housing Bubble will burst. Come on! Is it a bad joke or just a ridiculous idea of article to get comments and people to run around like headless chicken? Since I work in a bank, I can tell you that the credit requirement by CMHC didn’t change (we use the same TDSR ratio) and that they have banned the 100% financing, 40 years amortization and 90% financing on HELOC program during the 2008 crisis. So we are not the biggest subprime mortgage lender in the world… pfff…. I just can’t believe it that some people are allowed to write such….can’t find a polite word so I’ll let you add yours
