Financial Ramblings

As I am approaching of end of my MBA semester, I just started a 10 days class to get my financial planner license. So the next 10 Fridays, I will be at school… again! I knew this year would be rough with my career move, my MBA and the financial planner license. The good thing is that I was able to do a lot of things for my MBA back in January and February. I am now entering in the last sprint as my exams are in a month from now.

One day I am going to drive my Bmer and people will think it was luck! That is the funniest thing about people perception when one is making a few bucks more. They all think that he must did something wrong or that he is simply lucky. Good and honest workers don’t get wealthy, only the crooks and the lucky one become rich…

Hopefully I will become “lucky” as I want to make money but I certainly don’t want to be a crook 😉 Honestly, I prefer to believe that hard work and good financial planning will get to the same result. In the end, I just want to have enough money to take good care of my family, pay for my children education, finance my retirement and don’t have to budget if I want to go twice on vacation in the same year. I know that it requires a lot of money to be able to do so, but it is important to have goals and dreams in life 😀

I don’t know why you think that people who make a few bucks more are lucky. If I see someone driving a nice car and don’t know anything about them, I assume they have a good job, are good at it and work hard.

Why would I think they are lucky?

I think your jealousy is leaching into your post…

Adam,

Maybe I didn’t express myself correctly (this is probably the major disadvantage of not writing in my maternal language!).

I’m not jealous and I think that people who make good money work hard and deserve it (Honestly, I prefer to believe that hard work and good financial planning will get to the same result.).

The point of this post was more to say that, unfortunately, a lot of people will think that you are lucky or a crook and will completely ignore the third (and most probable) option that these people are working very hard.
