My favourite article from this past week was:
Investing In Yourself = Infinity Return @ Financial Uproar.
Nelson is really hilarious and discusses the idea of investing in yourself from a different perspective. He essentially tells us that all of the self-help material in the world is useless until you actually begin to work.
I agree with this. I used to load up on self-help content and then brag about how much I read. Naturally, I didn’t do much with this information.
Now it takes me months to finish a book. I read a few pages at a time, take meticulous notes, and then actually apply the advice.
Are you guilty of self-help overdose?
My favorite part of the article is…
“All the research in the world towards your chosen subject isn’t going to make any difference until you start profiting from it, either personally or professionally.”
Now it’s time to take some action!
